The Fidelity Special Situations Fund is managed with the aim of providing long-term capital growth from a portfolio primarily composed of UK equities. The fund manager, Anthony Bolton, aims at uncovering companies whose share price does not reflect Fidelity's view of its true potential - "Special Situations". Examples include companies which are undergoing restructuring, or companies which offer good growth potential but which, for some reason, are undervalued.
