About our team

The Multi-Asset Investing Team that looks after our absolute return funds is more than 20 strong. It offers expertise in economics, fundamental, thematic and quantitative analysis, actuarial insight, risk management and fund management. Team members have an average of 16 years’ investment experience, ten of which at Standard Life Investments. There are three core areas of talent in the team:

  • Multi-asset portfolio management
  • Strategic research and idea generation
  • Multi-asset risk analysis

GARS is not the product of just one mind. Instead it draws on multiple talents to create a solution that genuinely meet clients’ needs.

The Multi-Asset Investing Team draws on the expertise of all the asset desks across Standard Life Investments. This includes the treasury, equity and the fixed-income teams.
