About our team

The multi-asset investing team that manages our absolute return funds is more than 20 strong. It offers expertise in economics, fundamental, thematic and quantitative analysis, actuarial insight, risk management and fund management. Team members have an average of 17 years’ investment experience and ten at Standard Life Investments. There are three core areas of talent in the team:

  • Multi-asset portfolio management
  • Strategic research and idea generation
  • Multi-asset risk analysis.

In addition, the multi-asset investing team draws on the expertise of all the asset desks across Standard Life Investments. This includes the equity, fixed income and real estate teams.
